Dyeing my hair platinum from black hair?

my hair has been dyed jet black every so often for two years.

i understand i have to bleach my hair.

and it will probably damage it.

what im planning on doing is using colorzap.

it will then turn orange.

then bleaching it out with kaliedocolors or whatever. since that has a violet base i believe

and then tone it with manic panic vigin white.

does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do differently?

i dont want to fry my hair, i understand it will be damaged but i dont want to damage it to the point that i cant revive it with a deep conditioning treatment or something.

i cant go get it done professionally so i really need help:/

Putting as little chemicals in your hair as possible works. No chemical doesnt damage your hair at least a little

This is to risky for home, unless you'd like dried-out orange hair. This process is best done by a professional.

Either way going blonde is going to take some time.

try finding a salon to do it, they have better products that will take the color out better.

and the manic panic doesnt work, go to sallys and get a real toner. just make sure you follow the time right

Face it you will fry your hair youve got the right Idea but dont forget depending on wht your natural color is you will have to do this to your regrowth in about 6 weeks if it is mushy feeling after you have done this when it is wet keep the product off of that mushy hair that will be the point of no return your hair can and will melt after that point
