I had to have a color correction done yesterday after the salon botched my dye job the first time. I love the color that I left with yesterday, thank God...because I was there for 4 hours. I had my hair cut today to get the broken ends cleaned up, but my hair still feels very thick, unmanageable, and dry. I bought a Neutragena deep conditioner %26amp; the de-frizz, smoothing creme for afterwards, but it just isn't doing the trick. What deep conditioning treatment have you had success with for over processed, color treated hair?

Aussie has a great product called DEEEP 3 Minute Mircale. Good enough to use everyday. Stay away from hot oils.

This is a home remedy that's not expensive. Crush an avocado, with a couple tablespoons plain yogurt, and some jojoba oil. Leave it on for about 10-15 min. and rinse out. This is the least greasy/smelly home remedy. Or you can apply a hair mask like garnier fructis sleek and shine's, then put a shower cap over and put the blow dryer on it to give a little heat. This is what they do for deep cond. in the salons, so it works!

this stuff is amazing...i do hair and recently had a friend do my hair and lets just say what a horrible experience! i am currently platnium(not what i wanted but compared to the neon orange ill take it) and had to cut off 6 inches of my hair! so i know the feeling! buy paul mitchell super strengthner at a salon (target and other places sell expired product) its pricey-but my hair after the first treatment was like halfway to feeling normal and after a few more treatments its amazing again! i reccomend washing your hair then applying the treatment....comb through with detangling comb gently-if you got a plastic cap great or use saran wrap heat up a towel wrap it around your head and chill out watch some tv for 20-30 min and then rinse! its got amnio acids and proteins in it that really get in the core of each hair strand and repair it from the inside out the stuff a lifesaver in a bottle!
